Le Carillon d’Angélus Saint-Émilion Grand Cru (second vin d’Angélus)

Medium depth of purple-red color. Lifted fresh red-fruit perfumes comprise the nose. The palate displays fresh red-plum fruit at the outset, gaining more of a cooked fruit note as it opens. Acidity is fresh & the alcohol rounds out & balances the mid-palate. There are touches of chalky tannin that becomes more cedary, gripping & a bit angular on a long, lean, fresh finish with red-fruit perfumes.
