Varta Batteries Recycling Program

Our Varta Recycling Program, a groundbreaking initiative that took flight in September 2021. This eco-conscious program stands as a testament to our commitment to sustainability and innovation.

In partnership with BEM Recycling and Chimirec France, we have created a transformative system where old batteries are given a second life into a myriad of useful products: new batteries, electronic car components, essential kitchen tools, and keys.

But there's more to this initiative than just recycling; it's also about reforestation. For every 10 kilo of batteries we collect, Scott & Co Ltd has taken a solemn pledge to plant one endemic tree. This addition to our program ensures that we not only reduce waste but actively contribute to the preservation and restoration of our precious ecosystems.
