Domaine De Montille Clos Vougeot 2014

A brooding, restrained and cool nose consists mostly of intensely floral and earthy red and dark berry fruit aromas. There is outstanding punch and solid concentration on the dry extract-rich broad-shouldered flavors that display plenty of power and muscle on the impressively persistent if almost aggressively austere finale. This firmly tannic but balanced effort will require every bit of 12-ish years to resolve the imposing structure.
